Extended Profile
I am a 51 year old wife and mother of 3. My husband and I sold our home in California in 2004 and moved to South Africa where we lived for 11 months while we were having a 40 ft Parlay Catamaran Sail Boat built. We sailed from South Africa to Florida in
2005/2006. After living in Florida for 7 months, we left in Dec 2006 and sailed around the Caribbean. We anchored in Simpson Bay in St Martin for 3 months and really enjoyed bouncing back and forth between the French and the Dutch sides. In May 2007 we sailed
back to the US, arriving in Florida and then motored up the IntraCoastal Waterway to New Bern, North Carolina, where are are now living while we are waiting for the hurricane season to end.
I love traveling and seeing new places. My husband and I have traveled all over the US and have been to a lot of places outside the US. I love to read and enjoy finding books where ever we go. The best job I ever had was working in a Borders Bookstore in Thousand Oaks, California. It was like working in my own private library.
