December 2009
This has been a very tough year for me. My dearest husband passed away in February from a brain aneurysm. We were married for 40 years and raised 6 absolutely wonderful children together (4 daughters and 2 sons). We have 8 terrific grandchildren. Our latest addition was a beautiful grandaughter born in August which my husband was not here to share my immense joy.
Now I devote a lot of my time volunteering at my local church, library, hospital, and food pantry.
No TV in this home. I don't own one anymore. I enjoy reading, knitting and spending as much time as I can with the grandchildren.
Reading has always been an important part of my life and I look forward to a new year filled with many new books and authors to discover for the grandchildren and myself.
