Extended Profile
After beginning the task of posting my personal library on this site...I first began to realize that I have lost a tremendous number of books over time, seeing an author and then thinking "Hey, didn't I have this other book?"
This whole task has made me quite sad, beyond what I would have believed, as I am faced with the reality of a loss that I find quite painful. My collection would be double what it currently is had not so many pieces disappeared over the past few years either through accidental damage or through intentional theft.
I am realizing now, having spent nearly 6 hours inputting information, that there is no way I will ever completely archive my library on this site...I haven't the time nor the inclination to go through that much sifting and drudgery...but I have posted a rather decent cross section of my bookshelves' contents...and will attempt to continue updating my online archive as new literature is added to my already extensive library.
I must state that I love both e-bay and Amazon...those two outlets are proving to be more than simply beneficial. Usually it is expensive beyond reason to purchase literature anymore, however the ability to purchase novels in new or like new condition from online merchants has made expanding my library economically viable...and I love that.
I don't expect that anyone will truly be able to relate with the nonsense that I have been spouting off here, but that does not mean that no one will...but if you do not, don't bother reading anything that I have to say...there is nothing original, certainly nothing profound...and without question, nothing worth having wasted time in the very typing of these words.
In essense, I wish to state that I am nothing.
