I am a retired farmer's wife and the mother of four adult children. Our life together in our retirement home on a small lake built by my husband revolves around our children's families, our neighborhood, our church, our small nearby community and its library, our friends, travel, and reading. My husband works outside a lot with different projects, keeps farm records, hunts with his dog, and sometimes works part time. I keep food on the table for whoever is here, do the laundry, help with grandkids occasionally, and write whenever I can--email, letters, journal entries, family history, articles, poems, memoirs, short stories, skits and plays.
