Extended Profile
28-08-2003
I am 26, originally from the States (Colorado), but living and working in England for the past few years. I am always reading-- in fact, I bought a Vespa about a year ago but almost always choose public transportation instead, since you can't (easily!) read while you scoot! I grew up in South Denver, moved to New York City for university (NYU/Gallatin School), and did a Masters in Investigative Psychology at the University of Liverpool. Now, I am running a supprt service at a large criminal court, working with victims and witnesses (mostly children and vulnerable adults) giving evidence in criminal trials. Not surprising from my work and studies, I love crime fiction, detective novels, and true crime. I also love anything about espionage-- which is where the log-in name comes from! But I also love abstract, modern fiction, memoirs, existential writing, and culture/media/political studies. I heard about BookCrossing from a friend in the States almost a year ago, but only dug a little deeper and joined up 22-Aug-2003. I think it is a fantastic idea, and I am telling as many people as I can about it. I have released 3 go-advertising.com?... onmouseover="window.status = 'goto: books';return 1" onmouseout="window.status=''">books so far, and I am anxious to see if any get logged! I love the idea of "hunting" for go-acct.com?... onmouseover="window.status = 'goto: books';return 1" onmouseout="window.status=''">books in my area, and I am looking forward to reading something unusual and new as a result of BookCrossing!

I am about to release a load of my favourite reads, as my husband and I are about to move Stateside (Colorado) and they can't all come along... so keep your eyes open, Londoners!
10-Aug-2005
I had a long lapse from BookCrossing, which I think had to do with none of my books ever having been captured! Now that I've been Stateside for a bit, I'm about to give it another go... see how Denver treats me.
Here goes!!!
