I think this is a fabulous concept. I can't wait to start releasing books! I'm going to have start digging through boxes to find things I'm willing (or in some cases, dying) to release. Yeah, I'm going to hold on to some of them, but promise to release all that I can bear to part with!

I would classify myself as rather a neurotic bibliophile. I have an insatiable desire to read everything that appears to be of even the most remote interest to me, or of interest to people around me. Bookstores are my solace and my nemesis; I can never get enough. Besides the financial impact of this problem (I'm not a library person, sadly, I'd never return them), my studio apartment is beginning to burst at the seams. What better way to deal with my space issues, while still feeling like I can keep some tabs on things I consider to be prized possessions! I love to lend out books, now I can do it permanently and repeatedly with the ability to view the results. Mind you, I won't give them all up, but some of them are too great not to share.
