Colette's:Good Food-Hungry Minds is a gathering place in North Bend, Oregon located at 3229 Broadway, Suites H&I. Colette's is not a coffee shop, a creperie, a bakery, an art gallery, a gift shop, or a bookstore, but a clever fusion of all of them along with a stage to showcase musicians, artists, authors, poets and lecturers on interesting and timely topics. Owners Jerry Schneider and Jessica L. Lloyd-Rogers set out to create a community gathering place that offers a welcome down-home comfort to all with a dash of the best radical and progressive coffee shops of the past. "Our mission is to aid and abet a cultural revolution," said Schneider. "We're a catalyst," said Lloyd-Rogers. "The best ideas and coversations happen over good food and great coffee or tea. If all of this happens in a comfortable space where you are surrounded by art, books, and an awareness of our social responsibility to each other, our community and our world, how can you not go out the door and make a positive contribution?"
