I love reading and always have. I am a registered nurse with experience in a lot of specialties. I am the mother of two wonderful children (Daughterofcokie is one of them. And a son who is married.), one precious granddaughter (Love that little girl!), a 1-year-old grandson (doll baby, and a fat, lazy, spoiled cat we adopted from my mother who could no longer take care of her. Her name is Clara and my children have spoiled her terribly. We also recently got a hyper, precocious chihuahua that my daughter named Mr. Pete. I grew up on Nancy Drew and The Boxcar Children. I love church reading, non-fiction, good mysteries, history, and authors like John Grisham, Edgar Allen Poe, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I have a condo of my own in sunny southern California. Reading, scrapbooking, writing in my journal or letters, and spending time with my family are my most favorite things to do. Another top favorite thing is eating chocolate. (There is evidence of this on my hips!)

I am originally from Sharon, Pennsylvania and moved here before my 11th birthday - just in time for an earthquake! Yikes! I have 5 brothers and a sister. My sister and I are 10 years and miles apart but she is my best friend.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and am currently serving as the Children's Sunday School president. The children are so much fun. (I still think I'm a kid.)

I love the ocean. I love music. I love walking and I love learning. I don't watch much TV at all, but if I do watch I like the old Law and Order reruns w/ Jerry Orbach. I am enjoying life. And I am having fun being a Bookcrossing member. Have a great day!
