I have always loved to read. My Mom used to take me to the library when I was a toddler, and tell me how great books were... The greatest secret I have ever learned was when she told me, in a hushed voice, that every book would take me to a different place. Way to go, Mom! Thank you!

I now read anything I can get my mitts on- fiction of all sorts, history, travel, biographies... If I'm desperate enough, I'll read the phone book, and make up stories about people with interesting names.

When I don't have my nose in a book, I'm writing, belly dancing, searching for my Metis ancestors, running, listening to any kind of music from punk to country, watching NFL (Oakland Raiders!) longing for home in Southern Nevada, and trying to herd cats.
