I was so glad to hear about BookCrossing.com on NPR last week. I love to read and then I usually send the books on to my sisters, my daughter or to friends, but this is a great idea. I plan to release The Last Time They Met by Anita Shreve in the near future. My favorite book I've read in the last two years is Barbara Kingsolver's Prodigal Summer, favorite all time book is probably The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Another recent favorite is Louise Erdrich's The Last Report on the Miracle at Little No Horse, and just incase you think I only read women, I also really enjoyed Nick Hornby's How To Be Good, which I finished two days ago. It is a wonderful escape for me to be able to read. Otherwise I enjoy my work, computer programming for medical/pharmaceutical research, three dogs, a cat, a wonderful husband, three great children pretty much grown up now, sailing, hiking, and stone masonry.
