Extended Profile
The Centre for Women's Health OBCZ was opened on 25th July 2004 with much excitement when 10 books were released.
The Zone has been set up in the corridor leading to the toilets .. to avoid confusing free books with those from the Reference Library which is off the sitting room.
You'll find the CWH in Sandyford Place, Sauchiehall Street .. about 5 minutes walk from Charing Cross. The Centre is part of the Sandiford Initiative which is housed in the old Eye Infirmary. There's a lift to the second floor where you should check in with Eileen or Frances at Reception.
The Centre is open to women only from 10am until 8.30pm Monday to Thursday and 10am until 3.30pm on Fridays.
