I am the owner/operator of a coffeehouse and a lover of books. I have a small new and used bookstore in the back half of my coffeehouse and a bookclub that meets once a month.

I am intrigued by this as it ties in with an adolescent book I've read recently called Star Girl by Jerry Spinelli. Star Girl is all about random acts of kindness and seeing the beauty in everything from nature to relationships. It's the kind of book you finish and question you own motivations. The author makes you want to be a better person, to be Star Girl in every sense. It's a wonderful feeling that words on a page can create!

I know this isn't the place to book talk, but BookCrossings' premise creates the same feeling for me. I don't have a coopy of Star Girl at the moment but I think I'll go buy a copy and get started!
