I am the Textbook Manager at the local high school...checking books in and out, repairing and conserving, ordering new texts, getting rid of the obsolete and decrepit. My favorite part of the job is when a student asks me for recommendations for their
reading assignments. My knowledge of the kids and my familiarity with the 300+ novels in my care make this "matchmaking" a stimulating and rewarding exercise.
