Hi All, I am new to bookcrossing, and would be very grateful to receive any books which can aid bereaved families who have lost a loved one to a violent crime. My understanding is that many books which draw reference on this subject mostly come from the USA, and as I live in the UK I struggle to find such books! I am a 21 year old Volunteer for a Non profit organisation who run a bereavement support group which helps support families who have lost a loved one to a violent crime eg. Murder/Manslaughter, We are in desperate need of books which can help aid families in their grieving process. Losing a loved one at any stage in your life has to be the most hardest thing to deal with, but for those families who have lost their child, their husband, or any other family member in such a tragic & traumatic way is truly unbearable!!. I would be so very grateful if you could help me to help others in their time of need by helping me to find any kind of books which can help bring them some comfort, hope, and peace. I have out lined some books below which I know will be of great help for our support group, so please take your time and read through them!...... who knows you just might have one laying around somewhere or know someone who does!
In return I am also willing to help send on any books which I have on my list that is of interest to you. As mentioned before, I am new to bookcrossing so my Library of available books is some what limited, but I do hope to improve this in time. I understand how important books are, and how they can help to change peoples lives, so I am always willing to help by sending any available books which I may have.
