Are you a Bookcrosser who lives, works, studies or has other business in London on Monday 10th December? Do you use an Oyster card to travel by tube, bus or tram?
‘BookOysterDay07’ intends to promote visibility of Bookcrossing throughout the capital. To take part all you need to do is to carry a book with you and hold it against the Oyster card when you touch the card against the yellow reader at tube barriers or when boarding buses. For added visibility put a label with the Bookcrossing name and/or logo so it will be visible to other travellers.
In addition to the above, the following meeting places/times are suggested on 10/12/07 to meet to swap books, travel to other meeting points and swap experiences of the day:
Main entrance to Camden Town Tube at 12.30 - 12.45
Queen Square Park at 12.30 10/12/07. Nearest tube: Russell Square/Holborn
Main entrance to Ealing Broadway Tube, at 12.30 – 12.45.
Main entrance to Whitechapel Tube at 12.30 – 12.45
The main entrance to the Croydon Clocktower, St Katherine Street at 12.30 – 12.45.

If you receive this message and are not familiar with the above terms:
Bookcrossing is "the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise". Bookcrossing.com, is the free online book club which began and encouraged the practice. The stated goal is to "make the whole world a library". For more details see the main site at www.bookcrossing.com.
The Oyster card is the electronic ticketing system used in the capital.

The ‘BCOysterDay07’ group can me contacted via the members message facility on http://www.bookcrossing.com/sendmessage/BCOysterDay07.

Please forward to as many people who may be interested. Thank You
