I'm a mom of 3 daughters - all out of the house now. One in the army, 2 married. One grandchild due in April of 2004. We're moving to 10 acres in the country this summer where I can't wait to get my hands in the soil and garden and fuss with my own piece of seclusion!

When I have time, I like to read (fiction and some non-fiction about Ireland or biographies... I also enjoy journals or diaries of people who reveal what it was like to live a daily life at another time) write a little fiction, quilt (I don't seem to ever have time to do that right now - 6 months overdue for my daughter's "wedding quilt"), research genealogy, and camp - though I'm growing out of the tent camping thing..I prefer something softer than tree roots under me. Someday I hope to go to Ireland and England to see where the people I come from lived before they took the boat trip.

My youngest daughter is heading to Korea for a year in a few weeks... :(
