This bookshelf does not necessarily reflect my tastes. Several of my friends simply hand me books to "use for your bookcrossing-thing" which I gladly accept. I also occasionally pick up titles at charity shops for the sole purpose of "rescuing" them and making them available to the bookcrossing community at large.

If you are looking to get a feel as to what kind of books I enjoy, please peruse my private collection and my wish list (*wink*wink*). I love Harry Potter and children's fantasy in general. I also like non-fiction books that challenge my perception of things and the world around me.

I love to draw and I used to teach art privately. I knit, cross stitch and embroider. I enjoy learning about religions, cultures, art history, and sex. The history of sex and sexuality fascinates me. There have been some really odd ideas about sex in the past, and it has influenced everything from the sales of vibrators in women's magazines to Graham Crackers and breakfast cereals.

I try to read about 5 books a month on average but it isn't always easy to find the time now. Reading to my children comes first so, as you can imagine, I am pretty well versed in Dr Suess, The Rainbow Fish, Sponge Bob, Magic Tree House... and the list goes on.
