Extended Profile
Alaska is a good place for readers. We also have a goodly number of home-grown authors. I admit they seem to make money then move south, but the love of books and writing was born here. Our long winters probably contribute to high book readership. This
place (City and State) is a great place to be!
Retired and now living in the mountains of NC. Its a region of the highest mountains east of the Mississippi and surrounded by National Park and National Forests. Lots of time to read and lead a quiet life - when I'm not traveling across country in my RV.
Now living in Chattanooga, but thinking of going on the road as a fulltime RVer. Maybe establish a home base in or near Nashville. I've also married and acquired a couple of Nooks as carrying books aboard an RV is not easy. Most RV Parks/Campgrounds have a lending library where you trade some in, get newer ones out. Will soon start leaving books with registration if I can find my tags.
Gone again, we're full time RVer's now, living in a 35' Sunstar w/bath'n half. Thinking of making Florida our state of residence, but for now, workin 20 hours a week (between the 2 of us) to pay for our site in Florida Springs RV Park. Close to beach, fairly warm weather, rivers to float and paddle closeby, plenty of hikes to take.
