Extended Profile
The picture is of my girls, Louise on the left, Thelma on the right. They are litter mates and are half Chow-Chow and half traveling salesman. I rescued them from a cold demise in the Yellowstone River in 1996. They came at a time when I needed them most
and have been a blessing since. Thanks to TexasWren for helping me fit the pic to my shelf.

Indulgence is not a bad word as far as you're
concerned, your confidence in being yourself is
what matters more than all that.
The most loyal of friends and always good fun to be
around, everyone needs someone like you in
their life.
Which Pooh character are you?

My reading tastes go across a wide spectrum. I am currently into Native American History and Culture. I also enjoy mystery, horror and suspense, not necessarily in that order. I like to read a good novel once in a while, too. Self-improvement is another category I read. I do not care for Westerns or Romances, any on my bookshelf were obtained through mass purchases. But I do enjoy a little Science Fiction occasionally.
My favorite authors include
John Grisham - Marlo Morgan
Deen Koontz - David Allen Sibley
Douglas Adams - Sara Ban Breathnach
James Patterson - Patricia Cornwell
George Bird Grinnell - Brook Medicine Eagle
James Redfield - M. Scott Peck
Gary Zukav - Stephen R. Covey
Carlyn Myss - Joe Medicine Crow
Richard Carlson
And, of course, don't foget the lessons learned in Dr. Suess!!!! Oh, The Places You'll Go!!!
And I am obsessed with gardening and craft books. These are my treasures.
I will also read pet books dealing with training, communicating, and health. (I have two cats {Midnight and Crystal} and two dogs {Thelma and Louise})
I will do trades once in a while, but actually prefer RABCKS. I do look for unsuspecting benefactors on RABCK.com. I will always trade romances for another genre of book.

Your Brain's Pattern |
Your brain is always looking for the connections in life. You always amaze your friends by figuring out things first. You're also good at connecting people - and often play match maker. You see the world in fluid, flexible terms. Nothing is black or white. |
