Sarah and David have marriage problems. Or at least they did until the zombie apocalypse. This is a witty start to the series. With lots of zombies and I dig zombies. I enjoyed it and it's a quick read.

A fun and easy read, perfect to relax with. The central character was highly irritating at first, I mean would you really be concerned that you new white shirt was dirty when you had nearly been killed by zombies? Apparently you would.

The scene in the casino was slightly reminisent of Cormac McCarthy's "The Road", but in a totally different writing style.

I have this book now, I have quite a few bookrings/rays, but I'm trying my best to get on top of things, I'm reading as much as I can, and this one sound fascinating, can't wait to start reading it!

I actually really enjoyed this, it was a horromantic (made that genre up) and it's definitely the genre for me, there's just something about it that is amazing and gripping, it's like a romcom, but better.

The book reminds me of Dead Set (this was a tv series aired in the UK where zombies took over the world, but the out break started at the Big Brother house). And I was reading it, wanting to start watching the series again, along with the Walking Dead, which is a similar storyline.

I thought it was unfair that they had to kill so many people they knew, but you have to expect it right? I am so definitely getting the next book!

It's here! I have 2 books to read before I can start this one but I'll try to be quick! :)

This was good fun, not the best zombie book I have read, but after all, how different zombie stories can be? :) Lots of action with great humor but I have to admit it was quite boring how many times you can have a gun stucked in your waist band, can't get it out and you have to get something else to kill the zombie. How about learning from the very 1st time and not stucking a gun under you waist band...

But anyway, I liked this book so much I'll add the 2nd part into my wishlist in case it would show up sometime.

Okay, I have to admit that I didn't think I'd like this one as much as I did.

Sarah and David have problems. They love each other, but their marriage is falling apart. When they go and see their marriage councilor, they have a new problem. She's now a zombie, and eating her clients. Sarah and David barely make it out of the office alive, and so starts their zombie hunting days. David wants to go across country to see if his sister is alive still, and not a zombie. Along the way, the two of them are battling zombies, and at times, each other. Along the way, they meet some interesting cast of characters. Some of them are alive, and some of them aren't. That's all I really want to say on the plot.

This really is a fantastic read. Don't let the cover fool you. The cover makes it look like a "cozy" zombie read. Trust me, it's not. At times, the book is very, very violent, and I loved every minute of it. The cast of characters are life like, in that the seem to jump off the page. I don't want to say who they meet, but all of the characters are refreshing and not "cookie cutter" characters. The author takes the time to develop them.

The author has a nice writing style. The writing style flows at a nice and even pace. There isn't any long winded fluff, just to add pages to the book. There's enough twists and turns that will keep the reader hooked to the last page, and wanting more.

If you start this series, I can promise you'll be hooked as I was. I can't want to get my hands on the next installment.

This arrived yesterday in Colorado!! I am very excited to read it, just have to finish the glorified Harlequin (otherwise known as Pride and Prejudice) I am reading right now.

What a cute little story about zombies. I thoroughly enjoyed this trek into Sarah and David's world - so very close to our own...really only an outbreak away. How would you deal??
