I just bought this book recently. I was suddenly taken by the urge to read the second book in the Earth's Children series. Funny, that's the way it was with the first one, too.... one day I woke up and thought "I must read Clan of the Cave Bear". I guess it's the sort of thing that you really have to be in the mood for.

I started reading it at lunch today, and it's just the thing right now :-)

Picked this up at BC meet-up tonight. I've heard of the series, but never read any of the books. Going to save this for my trip to Pittsburgh in Nov and perhaps release somewhere in that lovely city. Thank you nillabreen!

UPDATE: (9 February 2004) I've picked this up a few times and just haven't been able to get into it. Going to offer it up on BookRelay to see if someone else might like to give it a try. I may come back to the series at some later date.
