What a cool book! I would almost call it a teen version of Pay It Forward.

I will be keeping this in my collection for awhile for my daughter to read. I try to find uplifting stories for her and this is a definite classic.

Stargirl is an inspiration to me. Never give up yourself. You need to believe in yourself.

Came in Friday's mail. I've heard so many good things about this book, and it's been on my wish list for ages. Thanks for offering this on relay, shellyann! Can't wait to read this :)

While I wasn't totally blown away by this book, I was plesantly surprised. It reminded me a lot of Bridge to Terabithia if it were told from an older kid's perspective. The most engaging thing for me was the setting. The setting for the story is practically my backyard, so I could totally relate to everything the characters experienced - especially Senor Saguaro :)

Off to SCOUT-FINCH via book relay!

I received this book a few weeks ago as a very kind RABCK. Sorry I didn't journal sooner. I'll read this as soon as I get a chance. Thanks so much!
