Great story with loveable and, most importantly, believable characters. You think you've reached the end of the story and the book, you feel ok about it all then KA-POW!, BOOM...BOOM... BOOM! Auster hits you with lots more to think and feel about. Superb.
My friend said that Auster is considered one of America's foremost contemporary writers. I can see why. I will look out for more.

I liked this, it's a proper story with a beginning, middle and end!
I finally got round to making a JE :-)
Really enjoyed this book - possibly one of my fave Paul Auster novels. So far anyway! I think Sam wants to read it - if he has done by the time I go to Amsterdam I'll try and wild release it there.
