Read about this in the forums a while ago, and ordered from PaperbackSwap.com since I had some spare credits. Just started reading it this morning and am so far enjoying it.

Just finished. Liked it, didn't love it. I liked the overall story. It seemed to unfold as a memory, and the lack of chronological order was not at all confusing. But the things I liked were sandwiched between so many pages of minute details that I did not find interesting or meaningful. Overall it dragged a bit too much for my taste.

Still, worth reading. I think I could have appreciated this more as a fall or winter read. Although much of this book takes place over a summer, the heavy atmosphere is constant.
