As a nanny, I can relate a lot to what the authors went through! This is an excellent story of a college student in NYC named Nanny working for Mr and Mrs X who have to much money and time on their hands. Nanny starts out at 15hrs/wk and a newfound best friend in Mrs. X. As the story progresses Nanny gets caught up in the life of the X's and becomes yet another of their staff. It's a quick, easy and very very good story!! Based on true, combined experiences of both the authors.

I thought this would be an important book to get out there as it shows what the lack of good parenting skills can do to a child.

I have had a few Inquiries on this book and so I have decided to release it into a Book ray. If you want to recieve this book, please send me a PM and I will add you to the list! thanks!

How Does a Bookray work?

A book passes from BCer to BCer based on the list of members who've signed up.

To join this bookray please send a PM (private message) to Mandana and I will add you to the list. New members will be added to the end of the list in the order in which I receive the messages. Please be aware that this is an international bookray and you may have to ship overseas. If you have a hard time shipping overseas, you can let me know and I will try to place you accordingly on the list, but I can't guarantee you won't have to ship internationally. The list of members will be listed here at the book's home page.

As a member, you will receive the book from the person listed before you. When you receive the book please make a journal entry stating that you’ve received it. Please read it as soon as you can (don't rush, just be reasonable about the length of time). After you read the book, please journal again with your comments. You will then need to PM (private message) the next person on the list for their mailing address.
If you are unable to reach the person after you on the list in a reasonable amount of time, then PM the next person on the list. If any questions come up, please send me a PM. Thank you all for participating in this bookray.

If there is no one on the list after you, please return the book to Mandana. I will send the book out again if I get more participants!

My first book, from a newly introduced book crosser. I thought my friend would love this site, needless to say she surpassed all my knowldge of it. . .and is now the bigger book crosser between the two of us. :-)

The Nanny Diaries was an enjoyable, quick read. Each incident, kept you wanting to read more. A real page turner. It was amazing to see how a relationship between a child and his caregiver can quickly go from the child crying for his mother to the child crying for the Nanny.

Unfortunately this book sheds a true light on how some children are really living in posh society, with little or no parental influence. Thank goodness for the Nanny's. . . and better yet thank goodness for the Nanny Diaries.

Funny, sad, sarcastic, crude, and a little bit sexy. The perfect ingredients for a great novel.

A most enthusiastic 2 Thumbs up!

Thanks Mandana!

ugh! I dont want to do it, but it must be done...I must admit that the Nanny Diaries have been lost in the mail. I have heard that Media Mail is slow going to the US from Canada, but really, its been a month. But never fear! I will buy another copy and send it out to restart this bookring! I will get on that once the craziness from my final exams have died down a little! Sorry for the delay guys! Hopefully this is the only time it gets lost!! :)
