My friend Andy gave me this book as a very late birthday present. I really like both of these edgy artists so it will be interesting to read what and who she thinks they are and were.

A most amazing artistic partnership. An interesting glimpse into the life and times of two extraordinary people who both managed to shape and influence the culture they were living in. Both embracing and subverting the trends and norms. I am really happy that they found each other/had each other to lean because these tough souls seemed all too fragile at times.

I passed this book back to Andy to read while we were at Latitude Festival 2011.

Many thanks for passing this back to me to read. Would have loved to read it at Latitude, but didn't want to risk it ending up as soaked as everything else I was carrying when the heavens opened.
So I brought it home with me, and have started reading it now. Enjoying it a lot so far - she writes as well, and as honestly, as you'd expect.

Finished the book on the Tube, left it at Victoria for someone else to find and enjoy.
