Kelly has a spring project in her mind that's a bit more involved than her usual scarves - rehabbing an aplaca ranch. She and her boyfriend can't wait to begin - but someone has different ideas for keeping Kelly busy, including slashing tires and cracking windshields. Kelly's scared, but she's hoping it's just random vandalism.
All that changes when House of Lambspun, the local knitting shop, is trashed and a young woman is found dead in the basement, drowned in a tub of dye. Although it seems like a burglary gone wrong, Kelly suspects there's more to the story. And as disturbing incidents pile up, she must pick up the stitches of these crimes before the killer strikes again...

Once again a really cosy mystery in which Kelly has to survive aggressive threats to her live. Of course she is able to solve the mystery, however how she does it is nicely told.

I really love this series and I've read this one in 2 days - I didn't want to put it down. As with the other books in this series, I am immediately drawn into this warm group of friends who help each other no matter how busy their lives may be. So refreshing! As a knitter, I love the detailed picture Maggie Sefton paints for us as she describes the yarns in the shop, and the projects everyone is working on. In no time, you feel as though you know these people. The stories are fun, and leave you wanting more.
