I have already registered one copy of this book before, it stays in my TBR shelf and perhaps in my PC later. This copy was bought for BC purposes as I know there are many friends of Murakami among bookcrossers :)
Many Thanks once again, lukutuoli! What a nice surprise! I just added this on my wishlist, and now I got it! :D I didn't even know that You got this one.
Nostanpa tätä vähän tuossa lukupinossa ylemmäs... Kirja on varattu sitten seuraavaksi LiskoMiettiselle! :)

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Being a big fan of short story collections and finding almost everything Haruki Murakami has written fascinating, I was very happy to have this opportunity to read this book. This collection, both written and edited by Murakami, was full of twists and turns, tensions and conflicts. I just felt pure joy while reading it!
There were quite many ears, all kind of "false" reflections in different mirrors, miserable love, death, alienation, loneliness,... with a surrealism. Once again, timeless and universal themes (not meaning those ears...).
"Birthday girl" was like a fairy tale, one of my favourites."Man-eating cats" was a horrible story indeed, but one of the most horrible things in it was being "trapped" on an island with no book to read. I suggest that every fashion / life style fanatic should read "Tony Takitani", that was nice. If I remember correctly, it was "Firefly" that was just like a miniature of Norwegian wood. Also "Crabs" reminded me of Norwegian wood with its not-a-hospital-like sanatorium, young characters, hand-written letters, miserability...
I can't thank you enough for being so generous once again, lukutuoli, but many thanks anyway!
***

I am so happy. Thanks! It will take some time to read. (I can see that there is small print and many words waiting for me.) Smiling. :)

Happy dance. <3
I like this a lot. One story I have already read somewhere else but it doesn't matter I read it again. :)
I don't know what to say. Just want to read all books from Murakami. He is so fantastic writer.
This book will go next to Sannuli.
