Any reader familiar with the novels by Robbert Goddard might be a tad disappointed with this outing. If however you have never read any of his novels before this might be a good place to start.
The story unfolds surrounding a recently released from prison character who has been incarcerated since the second world war, some Picasso paintings and several lead individuals whose lives all intertwined. The story moves between the 1940's, 1976 and the present day and travels between Ireland, UK and Europe.
