I picked this book up at the Book Thing on one of our Convention book buffet stocking trips.

This book is from my personal stash of books to release. I'll be leaving the D.C. area shortly after the 2011 BookCrossing Convention and anything that I don't have to move is all the better. I am putting this book on the book buffet and hoping it finds a good home.

Where will this book end up and what kind of journey will it have along the way?

BookCrossing books are more interesting as they get more journal entries and I often pick up additional copies of books that I know I have read before so that I can journal the books and then release them.

I read a different copy of this book in October 2008 and here are the comments I had at that time:

I really like John Grisham's books! They are written in plain speak that the average person can easily understand and I feel like I am drawn right into the story. This book was no exception to the rule and I loved that I learned a little bit about the legal system. I also think it is neat that I get to read a book that is set in Washington D.C. when I am living just nearby. The system that we have in place is obscene and this book points out some of the problems with the system as well as foster a bit of sympathy around the board. The reader must struggle with seeing things from the lawyers point of view and also from the point of view of the average citizen as they get taken for a ride by the big lawyers and leagl system that they don't understand.

I would recommend this book to anyone whether they are already a Grisham fan or want to give him a try for the first time.
