I picked this up at the convention in DC.

This is the book that inspired the more recent film adaptation. I have seen and enjoyed The Stepford Wives film multiple times but I have to admit that it is a little lacking in the plausibility department. Some things just don't add up or make sense.

The novel is different. It is far more plausible and eerie in its execution than the film. Whether you have seen and enjoyed the film, like me or if it didn't capture your attention, I suggest that you read the novel. It is a very interesting insight into the dynamic between husband and wife and the human mind.

Picked up at the NYC BC meetup. Which was, um, sparsley attended. But we had a good time, and may have even recruited a new member, so, success!

Definitely better than the movie, although not great. But a fun mid-week read, anyway.
