In one of the most acclaimed novels of recent years, Kazuo Ishiguro imagines the lives of a group of students growing up in a darkly skewed version of contemporary England. Narrated by Kathy, now thirty-one, Never Let Me Go dramatises her attempts to come to terms with her childhood at the seemingly idyllic Hailsham School and with the fate that has always awaited her and her closest friends in the wider world. A story of love, friendship and memory, Never Let Me Go is charged throughout with a sense of the fragility of life.

Now a film starring Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightley and Andrew Garfield

Released 13 yrs ago (3/14/2011 UTC) at Bench, Precinct beside BBC buildings in Shepherd's Bush, Greater London United Kingdom

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

My friend highly recommends this book as it is her favourite. I checked it out before watching the film and found that it was an easy and entertaining read. It was definately worth reading before seeing the film.

I've left it in on a bench since it is such good weather. I guess I may have to reconsider if it starts raining. This is my first book release so I'm intrigued to see what happens.

Enjoy!
