I've been seeing this book everywhere and thought it was about time I read it. Thanks for the copy Becky :-)
Knowing that the person who gave me this book hasn't yet read it I'm not going to say very much. Just I liked the idea of catching up with two characters on the same day over a number of years spanning their lives. I thought the characters were well drawn and by the end of the book I really felt like I knew these people. Maybe that's why I was shocked by parts of this book - so frustrating not to be able to say more and I didn't really like the final section.

I quite fancied reading this before seeing the film, so I was pleased to get a copy at the meet-up. Good to see you girls.
I really enjoyed this book, a good holiday read and I cried my eyes out while I read the last 3 chapters.

I had to stay up last night to finish this book. As others have said in good reads I identified with the book as the characters are around the same age as I am growing up so the cultural references are familiar. I too cried at the end of the book and had to ask Aly for a cuddle!
