My best friend gave me this book. She is an artist and she bought it because of the sensual cover and the incredible orange skirt. She loved it. I like the idea of intellectual heft and the references to Dora, Freud's 18 year old patient.

I loved this book because of its sunsual writing. The play of the practical husband and the spiritual wife worked well.

I am taking this book to Botswana and Namibia on safari. I will release it in Africa during the month of September, 2003.

I actually released this book in the Johannesburg Airport Cafe. I placed it on the table next to ours and watched while our waiter picked it up, examined it, read the BookCrossing note on the inside, looked around to see if it seemed to belong to anyone and then walk back behind the bar with it. Now I wonder what will happen to it.
