I loved this book! It is a fantastic art mystery and I read it in just a few days. I'm offering this one up as a bookring because I want to read it again at some point.

This is a great art mystery involving an painting from 1537 which may in fact be a 'puzzle map' leading to a huge inheritance. All of the clues are in the painting and have to be interpreted. It's a great read.

Here is the mailing list for the book (Sept. 14):

A nice mystery. I was somewhat confused as to the order of clues and how they inter-related though. Off to MaryZee. Sal

Enjoyed this story - wasn't as quickly paced, or quite as well-written as The Davinci Code (which I read earlier this year), but still an enjoyable art mystery. I did have a bit of trouble keeping track of the details of the clues, though, too.

Thanks for sharing, DragonFly4.

This will be going off to Kymberlie - next Saturday 11/15.

Wow, great book! I loved it. Anybody else flip to the cover often to try to solve the mystery first? I must admit though, the writing isn't the best. I just finished a great book, written wise. This book makes up for it with plot though! Very quick, fast read. Recommend to all, and I would love to read any more like this if you have them!

Will be off to Australia as soon as i get the address.

Thanks for sharing!!!!

Got this in the post on Thursday night and since I've been sick all weekend and off work I have already finished it! I really enjoyed this book, it was a great adventure and intriguing keeping up with the characters and wondering what was going to happen. Thankfully there wasn't much conflict with the 'baddie' as after Da Vinci Code I got sick of that interfering with the art story. I really wish I had more of an understanding of art and artists, maybe this has finally ignited a real interest. Thanks for sharing the book.

Also I'm a little frustrated b/c my internet was down over the weekend so I couldn't check who the book was going to next, I just found out that Mistlerose is next and she was actually at the brunch meetup we had here in Melbourne yesterday! Argghh, so annoying! Instead it will posted to her once I have an address.

Journal Entry 21 by Mistlerose from Frankston, Victoria Australia on Friday, June 10, 2005
