Couldn't warm to this one at all, despite all the good reviews it got. Hope if you find it you might put me right!

Yay! my first catch.

Not sure if the good folks at this crossing zone quite realise what this scheme is about. They've been noticing the books people leave there, then hiding them in the back, then dropping them off other places, I think without bothering to come to the site.

I may take them a poster and suggest they turn it into a permanent zone when I get a working printer again :o)

I guess I'll rate it when I've finished reading it, and I release it back into the wild.

Well, I've just been up all night reading this. It started off like it was trying a bit too hard, but then I really got into it and liked it a lot.

Then it got increasingly grim.

I also found it raised a lot of ideas that seemed very familiar, so much so that I felt like I'd read the book before some years ago, even though I know this isn't true.

For the most part I thought it was very well written, and some of the ideas were very interesting, and I suspect that some of the familiar imagery was present on purpose, as a link to the ideas in the plot.
