Ah, Dean Koontz is balm to my soul.... This, like all of his novels is truly wonderful. This is during his conspriracy era. About an American women, a singer in a japanese nightclub haunted by nightmares. Enter a man who recognizes her as a Senators daughter who has been missing for ten years. He helps her to realise that she is not who she thinks she is and all of her memories have been created for her. Now all this is on the book flap, so don't think I have given it away for you. There is much more..... awesome read!

Released on Friday, October 17, 2003 at mostly fiction in spikesmom, postal release USA.

Written in 1979, this is in the regular detective, suspense category, rather than the more supernatural, atmospheric novels Koontz is better known for.

It reads well, the pages fly by, the pace is always building and the flow logical. It is a book with strong momentum. You won't get bored.

Strong characters, good action and a satisfying resolution -- highly recommend.
