"Like Water for Chocolate" is the story of Tita De La Garza who is condemned by Mexican tradition, as the youngest daughter of the house, to remain at home, look after her mother and stay a spinster, but her destiny becomes entwined with that of her brother-in-law Pedro... It is an entertaining and unique romance with interwoven magical elements and recipes - the tale is imaginatively conceived and powerfully and evocatively written. I found this book incredibly enjoyable - it's dramatic, full of suspense and is beautifully descriptive, both of the recipes which form the framework of the novel and of the magical passion between Tita and Pedro.

Not really my kind of book. Interesting idea though...
CAUGHT IN LONDON UNITED KINGDOM
I found the book in the bookbin in University College London library. It's an unusual and imaginative read. A story which mixes fairytale with realism and adds a spark of magic to your day. I liked it a lot.
I am going to release it tomorrow. Haven't decided where yet but I will let you know.
