Highly enjoyable. You can play a little game with yourself - 'How many gods can I recognize before he gets round to explaining who they are?' Ten points per god, say.

I bought it in a charity shop weeks ago and only saw the Bookcrossing label when I started to read it. I was quite pleased because I'd heard about Bookcrossing so it was interested to catch a book. I plan to give it back to a charity shop or pass it to a friend to read and release later.
It's a great read and the twist at the end caught me by surprise

This novel was passed on to me by my fiance and it was a stellar read from beginning to end. Well written, and Gaiman manages to make the story wholly believeable and the characters quite real. Impressive.
