This book and it's companion book by Feynman arrived safe and sound today. I will get to reading them as soon as I can. You can check my progress on my profile. :)
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It really gave dimension to a man I've heard so many stories about from my father in law. My husband got a kick out of seeing me read the book too. He had read it a few years ago and after I would finish a chapter he'd want to chit-chat about what I had just read.

Releasing this wonderful Feynman book to ResQgeek.
Releasing this wonderful Feynman book to ResQgeek.
Arrived in the mail together with its companion book while I was visiting Mickey Mouse and friends in Florida. I read this a number of years ago and I'm looking forward to revisiting this wonderful book.
A friend of mine loaned me a copy of this book to read in the early 1990's, and I remember that I enjoyed both the book, and the conversations we had about it. Now, having had a chance to re-read Mr. Feynman's fascinating story, I realize just how much I had forgotten about the book. There are so many stories in here that I either made me laugh, or inspired reflection (or, in some cases, both!) that I can't possible list them all. This book clearly conveys Mr. Feynman's spirit of adventure, sense of humor, abundant curiosity, and natural irreverence. If there's one lesson to be learned from a life like his, it is that we should live our lives like explorers, always pushing the limits of our experience and never afraid to take chances.
I'm taking this book and its companion to the Post Office for their short hop across Northern VA to visit Red644. Enjoy!
