This Book is Currently in the Wild!
2 journalers for this copy...
A collection of short works where Weldon's stories pull no punches. There is always humour and (good for fortysomethings to hear) the wry and life-hardened smiles of middle age are often set in contrast to the po-faced enthusiasms and idiocies of youth.
Yet another passenger on the mystery tour bus from New Zealand. I love story collections and who could resist a book with this title? ;-)
Holy cow! I am so sorry KiwiKat! Somehow this book was put into a box of books I've had in storage for the last nine(!) years. I just rediscovered it this weekend. I will read it and get it back in the wild right away!
Again, I'm sorry I've booknapped this one.

A wonderful collection of short stories. There were several enjoyable stories, and almost all of them had a wicked bite. It's always nice to read a collection of short stories that compliment each other so well...with very few "klunkers."
I will leave this on the bench by the front door.
Congratulations on catching this book. I hope you enjoy it. When you finish this book, please journal again and share what you thought about the book. Then, please pass it along for somebody else to read. You could give it to a friend or leave it someplace, like a school, restaurant or wherever you think it might find a reader who'll love it! It would be great if you'd join. Then you could track where your books go. If you do want to join, I'd love it if you would use ALRESCATE- - that's me-- as the name of the person who referred you.
