From the Publisher
In 1980, Jean M. Auel’s debut novel, The Clan of the Cave Bear, blazed up the bestseller lists and went on to sell millions of copies worldwide. In this first book of the beloved Earth’s Children (R) series, Auel takes us back to the dawn of mankind and sweeps us up into the amazing and wonderful world of Ayla, one of the most remarkable heroines ever imagined.
Ayla, one of the "others," is adopted by a clan of Neanderthal cave people. She struggles to conform to their ways, but her advanced human traits overwhelm and threaten their primitive culture in this initial installment of an immensely popular series.

Thanks so much havfaith! I just got it today, and it arrived safe and sound. I can't wait to start reading this soon!
I picked this up at the Vogelweh Air Base (GERMANY) Library Free Book Exchange. I noticed that it was a BookCrossing book and I just couldn't resist becoming part of its journey.
I remember reading either this book or one that was similar back when I was in High School so I thought that I would give this one a try to see if it is something that I want to read right now. If it isn't then I will wild release it once more and hope that it is found by someone else that wants to play our little BookCrossing game.
