I picked up this book at the Women of Faith conference in Dallas not realizing that it was going to be my favorite book out of the three fiction books I purchased.

The story appeared at first to be a simple story about a perfect little family that had a teenager in rebellion and a major accident that rocked their foundation. The author, changes the pace of the story by introducing a very controversial modern issue in a very intelligent and interesting way. I appreciated the way she presented the issues, both the pros and the cons, while at the same time making the characters reactions very real, human responses.

I am recommending this book highly to anybody who likes Christian Fiction, and even those who might not. This author does a fair job I think of presenting both sides of the arguments on this issue. (It is killing me not revealing what the actual issue is, but I don’t want to give it away!) Enjoy the book!

Surprising story about a professional woman had everything her heart desired, the sweet husband, the career, the prestige, the nice house, the children.... and then...
When tragedy strikes, she is unable to use her "professional Counselor" ability to help her family or herself.
The story is a good example of how sometimes people go to extremes and justify their own decisions, behind the pretext that they prayed about it, or it’s the right thing to do. It shows how God’s plan to bless us in one way, will not interfere with other blessings He’s already given us. If it seems like this would be the case, we should re-evaluate the decision. Is this God’s will, or our own will?
Realization cost her dearly, and not only financially, but in her relationship with her husband, daughter, and coworkers.
