On Saturday 16 August 2003, Urbis released hundreds of books into the streets of Manchester, UK. Urbis placed books in locations across the city in shops, cafes, pubs, phone boxes, on park benches, at bus stops and in train stations. We even enlisted the help of Manchester’s black cab drivers and First Northwest trains to place books on public transport, taking them on a journey beyond the city’s boundaries ready to be discovered by curious travellers.

A proper 'classic' novel...a bit hard going at times but worth the perseverance. Will be re-released either somewhere around Manchester or wherever I end up.
