I hope to finish this by the end of the week. It's a very feminine and intimate story. Nice but not exactly my cup of tea. Anyway, I got messages from other portuguese bookcrossers saying they would love to read this, so a bookring will follow. Here's the list of participants so far:
1. miga, Portalegre;
2. witchie, Espinho;
3. xanocas, Santiago do Cacém;
4. malesisa, Cascais;
5. eilantha, Covilhã;
6. nypon, Porto;
7. aaannnaaa, Almada;
8. b3lo, Caldas da Rainha;
x. back to me: letra, Lisboa.

Obrigada letra !
Gostei muito deste livro. Fica-se com vontade de ter umas amigas assim, que nos acompanham, de forma sempre presente, ao longo de toda a vida.
Seguiu ontem para a Witchie
Got it a week ago! Thanks, Miga! I'll be reading it as soon as possible!
I was really curious about this book because I really liked the movie. My experience says that books are always better than the movies based on them. So...
I really loved this book. It made me think about how we forgive many things our parents (specially our mothers) do. Things we would never forgive if they had been done by anyone else.
It made me want to know the USA south, smell all that, taste those flacours and listen to that music. It really made me feel...

Finished reading it about a week ago (I forgot to make a journal entry earlier... sorry!).
I really liked the book. It's a beautiful story about friendship and family.
Now I know that my relationship with my mother is all roses, after knowing Sidda's and Vivi relationship. But all's well when it ends well, right?
The book went, today, to malesisa.

What a surprise I was not expecting it so quickly. It arrived yesterday by mail,thanks Xanocas. And it will be a good companion on my trip next week.
It's difficult to express how much I enjoyed this book. It maid me laugh, cry, become incredible sad and terrible happy. It remembered my friend's group at school. Life putted us all apart, each having different works in different cities, but once a year over the phone we still share our memories.
Friendship is most beautiful thing in life.
Tomorrow it will go to Eilantha. Enjoy it.
