This was a fun mystery to read. I really enjoy the relationship between Monty and Sarah.

This was my first time reading an Iris Johansen book. I really liked Sarah and Monty's relationship. The dog is just too cool! There is something that bothers me about this story although I can't figure out what it is. Maybe Sarah and Logan. Maybe just Logan. Maybe it's Johansen's writing style. I don't know. Anyway, I'll probably check out another one of her books just to see if I have the same feeling.

Have never read any Iris Johansen but have heard good things about this author - looking forward to reading it.

I enjoyed reading this book but I think I have the same reaction to it as hulamonkey did. I loved the bond between Sarah and her dog Monty and the way they communicated. But I had trouble reconciling Sarah's mindset in the first half of the book with her mindset in the last half of the book. I never grew to trust Logan like she did and their relationship didn't seem right to me. Or something! :) Not sure if I would read another Iris Johansen book or not but I was glad to have the chance to try her out.

Think I might save this for a mystery/thriller bookbox that's coming my way...
