This novel was very difficult for me to get really interested in. I continually wanted to shout at the main charachter, Robin Timariot, to pull himself together and get on with his life!
As usual there were many twists and turns in the book, peppered with a few surprises, making me want to read to the end.
Not one of the best Goddard novels for me, but they are all very different and appeal to many types of readers.

Not one of his best but enjoyable all the same. Goddard usually keeps you guessing until almost the end and you have to read until the very last page.
