Journal Entry 1 by garibaldisghost from Nottingham, Nottinghamshire United Kingdom on Sunday, February 6, 2011
The sixth in the Rekyjavik murder mystery series.
This latest instalment has Erdlandur working on his own to resolve events that may or may not be crimes, but whose resolution will in any event have little direct impact on anyone alive. That resolution is as much about recovering and honouring the memory of the lost, as it is about exposing the actions of the guilty.

Again, although Erlendur is the epitome of gloom, this is a very good story and strangely uplifting at the end.

Finally got round to reading this book which is chilling in all senses of the word.
Mailed to another bookcrosser via the wishlist tag game.
Thanks for tagging me with this, I'm really enjoying reading this series.
Another gripping installment in this atmospheric series, I'm already looking forward to the next one!
Going into The World of Crime bookbox.
Thank you! Arrived while I was away.
I have recorded that I have already read this as a borrowed book but I seem to have missed making a journal entry. If I remember rightly I enjoyed this with all its twists and turns - making me guess again and again - usually wrongly.
Returning to the the World of Crime Bookbox.
Taken out of the World Crime Bookbox
This was a new author for me and it didn't matter that it's part of a series and I hadn't read the others. I enjoyed this, it was an easy read but I'm not sure I'd bother reading the others in the series.
Putting this in the Crime and Mystery Bookbox
