This book is being registered in memory of my daughter, who was tragically killed on 30 Aug. 2010. She was always a big fan of Winnie-the-Pooh, and would have loved having Pooh books shared in her memory.

Today would have been my daughter's 10th birthday, and this is one of the 10 books I'll be releasing in her memory. The local members of BookCrossing will be releasing books in Old Town this evening in Becky's honor, and I'll leave this somewhere along our walking route from Le Madeleine to Founder's Park.

Hello - our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. What a precious daughter. We have our prayer meeting/Bible study tonight and I will bring your family up for prayer (Good News Baptist).

Found the book this morning, probably just where you left it last evening. I work in the building that is directly across the street from the City Hall fountain. I am going to either give the book to my boss to release near Columbia, MD, or I will take it with me to NC on vacation in March.

Oh, and I read the book - of course. How can one not read a Pooh book. I had no idea such a thing as bookcrossing existed and I'm glad to be educated.
