Cursed into a book by a jealous Greek god, Julian of Macedon has spent two thousand years trying to break free and live the life of a normal man. Unable to accept his role of love-slave to the women who conjured him, he wants his freedom.

A Sex Therapist by trade, Grace Alexander knows more about men than she cares to. After listening to them spill out their antics in her office, she has vowed to let no man ever use her like a piece of meat. Then, on her twenty-ninth birthday, her gypsy-wannabe best friend convinces her to summon Julian from the great beyond.

As the tormented, powerful and devastatingly handsome Julian tries to seduce her, Grace finds out that some vows are harder to keep than others. Everyone knows love can heal a broken heart, but the real question is, can it break a two-thousand-year-old curse?

I thought the premise of this book was very interesting. Imagine a man trapped in a book for thousands of years and the only way out is to be summoned and only to perform in the bedroom. Of course, that is what Julian is expecting Grace wants when he is summoned. They are both completely surprised. I really enjoyed watching these two interact. The reasons behind why he was cursed and ended up in the book were interesting too, and I enjoyed the introduction of the ancient Greek Gods and Goddesses, Aphrodite, Athena and Eros, who dresses as a biker on Earth. Very entertaining book that I highly recommend.
